General terms and conditions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. Parties and purpose
These terms apply to the services provided by Snezha Evgenieva Slaveykova, a self-employed professional trading under the business name Music4you, to the client who books them. The details of each service, its price and the date are set out in the contract's data sheet, which the client signs electronically. In the event of any conflict, the terms agreed in the data sheet prevail.
2. Prices and travel
Prices include 21% VAT and travel up to 60 km from Reus. Beyond that distance, €0.55 is charged per additional kilometre. If the event venue is more than 1 hour and 30 minutes' journey from Reus, the client shall also cover the accommodation and subsistence expenses of the staff.
3. Booking and deposit
The date is reserved once the client signs the contract and pays the deposit through the Music4you payment portal: €300 for weddings and corporate events, and €100 for DJ parties and lighting. The deposit is deducted from the total and constitutes a payment on account of the price, as a confirmatory deposit (arras confirmatorias). Until then, the date is provisionally reserved for 7 days from when the contract is sent; if it has not been signed and paid by the end of that period, the date is released.
4. Final payment and extra hours
The remaining balance is paid online no later than 2 days before the event. If it is not received by then, Music4you may cancel the service and retain the deposit. Any extra hours booked during the event are paid afterwards, within a maximum of 15 days, via the payment link sent to the client.
5. Change of date
The client may change the date only once, provided that Music4you is available. The deposit and payments are transferred to the new date. If the new date falls in a later year, the rates in force in that year apply.
6. Cancellation by the client
- With less than 12 months' notice, the client forfeits the deposit.
- With 12 months' notice or more, the deposit is refunded in full.
- In all cases, any other amount paid over and above the deposit is refunded in full. No other penalty applies.
- Cancellation must be notified in writing.
7. Cancellation by Music4you and force majeure
If Music4you is unable to provide the service with any member of its team, it will refund everything paid, including the deposit.
If the event cannot take place for reasons beyond the control of both parties (such as the closure or prohibition of the event by the authorities, or a disaster), the client may change the date at no cost, subject to availability, or receive a full refund of everything paid.
8. Venue, power supply and unforeseen events
The venue must provide a sufficient power supply, with sockets less than 25 metres from the set-up area. Standard set-ups are connected to sockets of up to 16 A; if a set-up requires more, Music4you provides its own distribution board and the venue must have a working 32 A three-phase industrial (CETAC) socket. Music4you is not liable for the condition of the venue's electrical installation or for any power cuts or damage arising from it.
If the event is held outdoors, there must be a covered area for the equipment in case of rain. Finishing times and volume limits are those set by the venue and by local regulations.
9. Special effects
The client must confirm with the venue that cold sparks, low fog, coloured smoke and bubbles are permitted. Music4you accepts no liability for fire alarms, fines or stains if the effect was not authorised, and may decide not to use an effect if it considers that there is a risk.
10. Copyright and insurance
The licence for the communication of music to the public (SGAE, AGEDI or other collective management organisations) is the responsibility of the venue where the event is held. Music4you holds valid third-party (civil) liability insurance for its activity.
11. Terms for each service
- Weddings: the 3 hours of dancing start from the first dance or, if there is none, from the start of the open bar. Extra time (€200 per hour; €100 per half hour) may only be booked by the couple, and only if the venue extends the open bar. The music planner must be submitted at least 7 days in advance. Hora Salvaje is offered subject to availability; if it cannot be provided, its price is refunded.
- DJ parties: 3 hours of service from the stated start time. Karaoke takes place within that time.
- Lighting: it is set up before the event and taken down afterwards, without Music4you being present during the event. While installed, the equipment is in the custody of the client and the venue. The venue must authorise the anchor points. In strong winds or storms, Music4you may decide not to install the equipment, or to remove it, for safety reasons, and will refund the proportional amount.
- Corporate events: tailored quote, invoiced to the company. The company is responsible for the rights to any content it provides for projection.
12. Complaints, language and applicable law
Music4you has official complaint forms (hojas oficiales de queja, reclamación y denuncia), which can be requested at eventosmusic4you@gmail.com. The contract is available in Catalan, Spanish and English, and the client is entitled to receive it in Catalan. These terms are governed by Spanish law; in the case of consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction.
